it is okay to PIVOT

One of my favorite shows is FRIENDS; if you have ever watched the show, you may be familiar with the couch episode. Ross, Rachel, and Chandler try to carry a couch up the stairs to Ross' apartment, and Ross' genius advice is to yell "pivot" a few times. Even though pivoting did not work in this episode, the couch ended in pieces and never made it past the first flight of stairs; the phrase resonates every time I get stuck, physically or mentally. PIVOT! There is never one way to accomplish goals or even something as small as a task. Sometimes, you have to improvise, see what resources you have, and create the best possibility for you to succeed. For instance, after years of trying out different planners and agendas, I could never finish one or felt like I got organized using them. I then started creating a version of a planner that worked for me; there was a lot of trial and error. When I finally thought I had the perfect one, "HGO Planner," HGO stands for Habit Goal Organizer, I was really happy, but as my goals and dreams got bigger, more items needed sorting: lifestyle, professional, and personal goals. So, I "pivoted" and created the HGO Roadmap. HGO Roadmap lays out when and how you will complete a task, create a habit, get rid of a habit, accomplish a goal, etc. Both planners are great, I would consider the HGO Planner as dipping your toes in the world of reaching your goals, and once you start to see results and see how amazing it is to know that you can accomplish tasks and want to challenge yourself the HGO Roadmap comes into play, who knows I may level up from it and create another planner in a few months/years. If you focus on creating a product, it is important to believe in it but keep sight of why you made a product; The why determines the final version of your product. Don't be scared to pivot! It can only make things better.
